Clair Global opens new sustainably-designed Lititz HQ and expands manufacturing
Clair Global has announced the official opening of its new global headquarters and the expansion of its manufacturing capabilities in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
The company has reimagined its workspace to optimize operational efficiency and enhance unity across its Events, Integration and Product divisions, and has repurposed its previous site into a fully-fledged factory for the Cohesion brand and other internal manufacturing needs.
“Our new workflow in Lititz allows us to better adapt to the diverse solutions our teams deliver and the variety of markets we serve”, comments Matt Clair, EVP Business Operations. “The workforce can respond rapidly to urgent client needs more than ever before.” Ron Sadd, Clair Global Operations Manager, adds: “With our new building design, our resources have been pulled together. Operationally, our staff can work more efficiently and collaboratively, knowledge sharing in real time, which is a powerful asset for our teams.”
“Pennsylvania is where our roots are”, furthers Clair. “It was important for us to be able to stay here, grow our footprint as part of the Rock Lititz Campus, and be central to the industry community. Not only does the new headquarters allow us to better service our Events and Integration clients, but it has enabled the expansion of our internal manufacturing aptitude. Beyond the Cohesion brand, we’re now better placed to design, build and supply equipment such as custom racks, cables, cases and any related hardware needs to our Clair affiliates around the globe.”
The new Lititz headquarters has been constructed with sustainable design practices and harnesses solar energy through an integrated rooftop system. Additionally, the entire facility is climate-controlled using a geothermal energy system which offsets electrical energy consumption over the calendar year. To further support employee and visitor sustainability, Clair Global’s social responsibility extends to the implementation of electric vehicle charging points.
The new base also supports Clair Global’s Road Staff in Training (RIT) program, an audio technician training curriculum that educates on the skills required to deploy large-scale event sound systems, live production communications and data services. The new training areas include a full-scale grid that can install two arena-size PA systems simultaneously, and practical training spaces that allow up to three training sessions to take place concurrently.
“We’ve really been able to scale up our training, which is essential to supporting the next generation of professionals in our industry”, notes Dave Lester, Clair Global Director of Education & Safety.
