Lightware celebrates successful 2025

Lightware is looking back on a year defined by new advancements, collaboration and continued growth. Across the year, Lightware rolled out nearly twenty new products, unlocked new 5K capabilities, expanded its integrations, grew Lightware Academy to more than 12,000 learners, advanced sustainability programmes and opened new offices in Hong Kong and the Netherlands.

Products introduced by Lightware in 2025 include the Taurus Smart Dock and the Dual Screen Taurus. The team also introduced 5K support across the MX2 matrix switchers and Taurus family and rounded off the year with the Taurus HC60 upgrade.

Microsoft Teams Rooms integration was extended, Cisco interoperability was expanded, and the company deepened its long-term partnership with Netgear by combining both manufacturers’ e-learning platforms. Lightware Academy reached new heights in 2025, growing to more than 12,000 learners, including over 4,000 who joined this year alone.

Lightware also hosted two Girls’ Day events, ran an SDG-focused workshop, and encouraged employees to take a paid time out to support local volunteering initiatives. Additionally, all departments moved into Lightware’s new environmentally conscious headquarters at HOP Technology Office Park.

Lightware’s achievements were reflected by a range of industry honours, including two ISE 2025 Best of Show awards for the Taurus TPN and Gemini GVN, whilst the Taurus Smart Dock earned accolades from both Future and Commercial Integrator at InfoComm. The wider team was also recognised with the 2025 Lovable Workplace Award in Hungary.

2025 has also been a year of global expansion, with the opening of two new Lightware premises: one in Hong Kong (Experience Center) and one in Naarden, Netherlands (an office encouraging professionals in the Benelux region to learn about, train on, and collaborate with Lightware solutions).
