3Particle unveils Brompton Technology-powered XyperReal Stage in Malaysia

3Particle has launched XyperReal Stage, Malaysia’s premier virtual production research and innovation centre, designed to advance industry knowledge, provide hands-on training, and drive innovation in virtual production.

The facility integrates Brompton Technology’s LED video processing with Pixreal’s LED panels using Macroblock driver ICs and Mo-Sys camera tracking to create a hub for film, television, live events, broadcast media, fixed installations, immersive experiences and location-based entertainment (LBE). A Blue Partner in Brompton’s Panel Manufacturer Partner Programme, Pixreal has supplied sixteen Hiro1.9Pro LED panels.

XyperReal Stage is a fully equipped research and development hub, where professionals, educators, and business leaders can explore emerging technologies, optimise workflows, and integrate virtual production into their projects. The facility features an immersive demo and training area with a 30-person capacity, offering hands-on experience in In-Camera Visual Effects (ICVFX), extended reality (xR), and real-time CGI content creation.

Brompton’s Tessera LED processing technology plays a crucial role in the facility’s workflow, delivering a comprehensive Tessera feature set. “Art and technology go hand-in-hand, and Brompton offers the most advanced and comprehensive LED processing solutions available”, says Ts. Carl Loo, founder and owner of 3Particle Solution and XyperReal Stage. “As virtual production continues to advance and with our team continuing to pioneer it in this region, it is essential for us to elevate our standards across events, broadcast, immersive experiences, commercial projects, and film.”

As part of its commitment to industry growth, XyperReal Stage is also working with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) to develop an awareness programme, focused on educating professionals and businesses on virtual production workflows and preparing the next generation for the future of digital storytelling and content creation.

Additionally, XyperReal Stage is collaborating with veteran Hollywood VFX expert Hussin Khan (EFXCO), a certified Unreal Engine instructor, to create a specialised educational pipeline for virtual production. This initiative aims to equip professionals and aspiring creators with skills in VFX, real-time rendering, and virtual production techniques.
