KV2 Audio Open Day held in Jakarta

Designed for audio engineers, system designers and integrators, and anyone with a passion for sound, “Hear the KV2 Difference - KV2 Audio Open Day” - the first in a new series of KV2 Audio open day events, this time held in Jakarta, Indonesia - provided an in-depth introduction to the brand’s portfolio.

The Open Day was organised in collaboration with distributor Goshen Swara Indonesia, whose Sales Director, Franky Cahyadi, opened the event, discussing the importance of critical listening and understanding what sets great sound apart. This was followed by a virtual welcome from Sascha Khelifa, Sales and Marketing Director for KV2.

Hosted at the Ballroom Goshen PIK Elang Laut in North Jakarta, the product lineup included a vast selection of loudspeakers, offering everything from compact models for smaller installations - ESD25 and ESD Cube - to high-output modules designed for live events and performance spaces - ES1.0 and SL412. Demonstrations and technical talks were led by Leo Tanzil, KV2’s Technical Support Director and Product Specialist, while guests were encouraged to move around the room to find their own optimal listening position.

Invited to trust their own ears, an A/B testing session allowed attendees to hear audio reproduced at the highest level. Guests had the opportunity to directly compare KV2 systems to those of alternative brands. All systems were powered by KV2 amplifier lines, while a VHD4.21 subwoofer delivered resounding low end. Guests were invited to play their own music through the systems for a more personal evaluation.

The event wrapped up with an open session, giving visitors the opportunity to mingle and explore the portfolio at their own pace, with an extra demo session provided for those wanting to learn more. “Events like these are essential”, comments KV2 CEO George Krampera Jr. “They give people the opportunity to truly hear the difference, which simply can’t be communicated through brochures or websites.”
