Renkus-Heinz announces three new engineering hires
Renkus-Heinz has strengthened its engineering department with the addition of three new team members. Hai Le joins the team as Embedded Software Engineer, Robert Newman takes on the role of Loudspeaker Engineering Technician, and Peng Yin joins as Senior Software Engineer.
Hai Le brings over twenty years of experience working on embedded software development. Since completing a master’s degree in computer science at California State University, Fullerton, he has been involved in building products for a range of industries, including computer storage, networking, medical devices, flight software and traffic detection. In his new role as Embedded Software Engineer, Le is looking forward to applying his skills to the world of loudspeaker audio. “I have worked on video products in the past, but they did not include audio”, he explains. “I am very excited to have the opportunity to learn about sound.”
Transferring from a Technical Head role at an audio engineering company is Robert Newman. He boasts fifteen years’ experience in professional audio, with a strong focus on transducer design, manufacturing and testing. Newman has a background in hands-on craftsmanship, engineering theory and technical management. “It’s a great feeling to step into a role where I can combine everything I’ve learned over the years”, says Newman.
Peng Yin will be sharing his passion for engineering and sound as he joins the Renkus-Heinz team as Senior Software Engineer. He has completed two master’s degrees at the University of California, Irvine (in Software Engineering and Civil Engineering), and held various software engineering roles since 2016, leading teams to success with a broad knowledge of programming languages and experience in testing software. “With my background in real-time systems, signal processing, and .NET development, I look forward to building tools that push the boundaries of acoustic innovation”, states Yin.
Hai Le, Robert Newman and Peng Yin will be working closely with Engineering Manager Chad DeFranco and the wider engineering team to support Renkus-Heinz’s goals. “I am excited to welcome our new hires as strategic additions to the Renkus-Heinz team”, comments DeFranco. “In a post-COVID landscape, we are building a more diversified and highly skilled team that will lead us into the future. Together with our existing engineering team, our new recruits will be instrumental in enhancing our Rhaon software and loudspeaker platforms, giving us a firm footing to achieve our roadmap of technological innovations.”
