New BluOS Configuration Utility available
BluOS, the multi-room management platform from Lenbrook Media Group, has announced the launch of the BluOS Configuration Utility, a dedicated application designed to simplify the setup, monitoring and maintenance of BluOS systems in both residential and commercial environments. Available from today, the Utility provides integrators and installers with a solution to configure and manage BluOS products across projects of any size.
“The BluOS Configuration Utility was created to provide integrators with a reliable, scalable workflow for deploying BluOS systems, enabling consistent device configuration, feature activation, firmware updates, diagnostics, and long-term system maintenance for any BluOS product”, says Andrew Haines, BluOS Product Manager. “Our focus is to streamline installation, improve long-term serviceability, and allow our partners more time to focus on value-adding activities.”
The BluOS Configuration Utility features a real-time Player Dashboard with detailed views of device status, firmware versions, network parameters, transport controls, and multi-room groups. Integrators can run multiple tasks in parallel and apply bulk actions - such as firmware updates, preset copying, reboots, network adjustments, and factory resets - across multiple players simultaneously.
Additional features, including Wi-Fi setup, Action History tracking, LED state control, and log export, provide the visibility and control required to deploy and maintain systems efficiently. The BluOS Configuration Utility is available to all authorized custom installation integrators, who should contact their distributor about access.
As part of Lenbrook’s commitment to the CI channel, the company also continues to expand its third-party integration options, particularly with KNX manufacturers. From February 2026, integrators using KNX will be able to control BluOS devices via the Xxter controller and Eelectron web server, followed in March by support for the ABB APP-Control Server. These integrations enable playback and volume control, selection of BluOS presets via any KNX keypad, and display of Now Playing information across iOS and Android apps as well as touchscreen interfaces.
