Accu-Cable introduces AACXLR series power/audio combo cables

Accu-Cable, a provider of professional connectivity solutions, has introduced the new AACXLR series, a range of professional power/audio combo cables aiming to simplify connections between compatible powered speakers and professional audio equipment.

Designed as an alternative to running separate audio and power cables, each AACXLR cable combines a 3-pin XLR male-to-female balanced audio connection with a 3-prong Edison male-to-locking IP female power connection inside a durable, flexible PVC outer jacket. This construction allows users to route, secure, connect, disconnect, and coil a single cable rather than managing separate audio and power lines.

“Every powered speaker needs both an audio connection and a power connection, so combining those two requirements into one professional cable makes a lot of sense for production teams and installers”, comments Alfred Gonzales, Director of Sales. “The AACXLR series is designed to make everyday setups faster and more organized while reducing the cable clutter that can build up on stages and in installed systems.”

The AACXLR series features professional-grade construction throughout. The balanced audio section utilizes two 20 AWG twisted-pair conductors with a braided shield for dependable signal transmission, while the power section incorporates three heavy-duty 12 AWG conductors. With a flexible 12 mm outer diameter and durable PVC outer jacket, the AACXLR series is suitable for both mobile production and permanent professional installations.

The series, which also includes a cable tie wrap for better cable management, is available in two lengths: the AACXLR-25, measuring 25 feet (7.6 meters), and the AACXLR-50, measuring 50 feet (15 meters). Both options are designed for a wide range of applications, including concert tours, live productions, corporate AV and events, houses of worship, entertainment venues, schools, system integration projects, and mobile entertainment.

Ideal applications include powered loudspeakers, powered stage monitors, active subwoofers, portable PA systems, and permanent professional audio installations. The Accu-Cable AACXLR series combo cables are available now through ADJ dealers and distributors in North America (these products will not be available in Europe).
