Avante Audio introduces SPL110 speaker stand for audio and event applications

Avante Audio has released the SPL110 speaker stand, a rugged and adaptable support system. Built from heavy-duty steel, it is designed to securely support powered and passive loudspeakers in a wide range of environments. 

Its flat steel base plate delivers stability on uneven or high-traffic surfaces, making it suitable for AV companies, houses of worship, touring professionals, mobile entertainers and rental applications. “The SPL110 is not just a speaker stand - it’s a versatile platform that adapts to real-world event needs, whether you’re deploying audio, lighting, or both”, comments Ray Varela, National Sales Manager for Avante Audio.

The SPL110 system consists of two primary components, packaged separately: the SPL110-Pole, a telescoping pole featuring an M20 mount on one end and a universal fit for speakers with cup-style pole mounts on the other end; and the SPL110-Base, a heavy-duty steel base plate. The telescoping pole adjusts from 54 inches (1,372 mm) to 92 inches (2,337 mm), providing flexible height options for optimal sound coverage.

The dual M20 mounting points are built into the base plate. This innovative design allows users to mount a speaker on one telescoping pole while utilizing a second SPL110-Pole (sold separately) to support a lighting fixture, creating a compact, space-saving solution for audio and lighting deployment from a single base. This added functionality makes the SPL110 suitable for event professionals on the go, where speed, efficiency, and versatility are critical.

With a maximum load capacity of 60 lbs. (27 kg), the SPL110 supports a wide variety of speakers and compatible fixtures. Both the pole and base include dedicated carry bags, ensuring easy transport and protection during load-in, load-out, and storage. “The ability to support both audio and lighting from one stable base gives users more creative freedom and faster setup times”, says Varela.
