Elation introduces Volt+ Series

Elation has launched the Volt+ Series, a next-generation family of battery-powered lighting solutions. Building on the original Volt line, the new Volt+ Par and Volt+ Bar fixtures offer increased output, expanded color capabilities, rugged IP65 construction, and fully wireless control, ready for productions indoors or outdoors.

Engineered for on-the-go deployment, Volt+ fixtures feature a integrated battery supplying over twelve hours of untethered operation, supported by intelligent power management and multiple charging options.

At the core of the series is Elation’s RGB+Lime+Amber+UV color system, generating a broad color spectrum, heightened output, and color rendering with a high CRI. According to the manufacturer, “the single-source, fully homogenized beam ensures smooth color with no fringing, from crisp whites to deeply saturated tones, and every shade in between”.

Compact and fully IP65-rated, Volt+ enables designers to fine-tune the looks with a virtual gel library, CMY emulation, and variable white from 2,400 to 8,500 K. 16-bit dimming and high-speed strobing deliver nuance and punch for both subtle lighting and impactful effects.

With wired and wireless operation - including DMX/RDM, IR Remote, prebuilt and custom standalone effects, Aria x2 wireless device management, and NFC configuration - Volt+ delivers seamless integration and professional-grade control.

Each fixture ships individually or in a six-unit charging road case, to ensure all units are fully ready for use. Wireless DMX, in-case charging, and connection-free operation streamline setup and repositioning, allowing designers to quickly place or reposition fixtures where the design demands.

A direct evolution of previous Volt models, the Volt+ Par is available in two output options: Volt+ Par S (30 W; 1,975 lumens) and Volt+ Par L (60 W; 3,600 lumens). The Volt+ Par S offers a fully cable-free design, while the Volt+ Par L incorporates power and DMX connectors for wired or wireless setups. For extended events, the Par S supports an optional charging + DMX base for simultaneous operation and charging. Both fixtures support optional external batteries for even longer untethered performance.

A removable snoot provides refined beam control when needed. Additional accessories, including a lens kit, yoke, and stand adapter, expand creative options, and an optional Bowens-mount adapter (Par S) permits compatibility with a wide range of light-shaping modifiers for precise beam control and customized visual effects.

The Volt+ Series also welcomes the Volt+ Bar S, a half-meter LED batten that brings the same RGBLA+UV engine into a creative linear format. Evolving from Elation’s Six+ Bar S, it delivers strong output, smooth color, and optics engineered for both wash and direct-view applications.

Six 20 W RGBLA+UV LEDs and 50 mm lenses with individual cell control produce over 5,020 lumens of homogenized light with a CRI of 90.9. An integrated accessory slot supports the included frost filter, glare shield, and optional ND filters, with further optics available.

End-to-end linking and an L-track system on three sides enable flexible mounting and multi-fixture arrays, while adjustable trunnions allow for optimal positioning around architectural features or scenic elements.

A fully IP65-rated housing with C4-M marine-grade coating withstands harsh outdoor environments, including coastal conditions. Fanless convection cooling ensures silent operation for noise-sensitive spaces.
