ELL unveils industry’s first smart, fully certified EN 17206 electric chain hoist at ISE
ELL, a new brand in event technology, has announced its official global launch at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026. ELL is introducing its premier line of professional-grade electric chain hoists specifically engineered to meet the demands of the modern entertainment industry.
In an industry where safety is non-negotiable, ELL arrives as the first brand to offer a fully furnished, third-party TÜV certified hoist that moves beyond self-declaration. At ISE, ELL will debut both 500 kg and 1000 kg chain hoist models.
Designed for seamless integration, these hoists allow rental houses and venues to retain their existing controllers while upgrading to a system that meets the EN 17206 standard. Each unit features a drive mechanism designed for twice the characteristic load, a dual braking system, and an 8:1 safety factor (SF) black phosphate load chain.
The ELL hoist is not just a lifting tool; it is a data-driven asset. Through integrated NFC technology, riggers and technicians gain instant on-site access to machinery specifications and documentation via smartphone. Key smart features include the integrated hour counter (simplifies maintenance scheduling), operational logs (real-time access to usage history and event logs), digital traceability (a full digital footprint for every unit) and easy maintenance (streamlined testing for load-securing devices).
“We didn’t just want to build another hoist; we wanted to provide a complete, compliant system solution”, says Juan José Vila, Director, ELL. “By establishing a dedicated infrastructure and a strategic manufacturing base in Valencia, we’ve combined specialised engineering expertise with the logistical agility needed to serve the EU and UK markets.”
