Althea Ricketts

Althea Ricketts has been appointed to Shure’s Executive Staff in her current capacity as Vice President of Corporate Initiatives. In this expanded role, she will continue to lead Shure’s inclusion, diversity, equity, and access strategies and the company’s sustainability efforts, as well as oversee the Program Management Office.

“Althea’s journey at Shure spans more than thiry years, with leadership across Global Marketing, Global Sales, Customer Service, Strategic Planning, and Support Services”, says Chris Schyvinck, President and CEO at Shure. “Her experience and customer-centric approach have shaped key transformation initiatives across all facets of Shure’s business processes.”

Outside of Shure, Ricketts is a recognized voice in AV, frequently representing Shure at industry events. In 2025, she was named President of Women in AV/IT, underscoring her dedication to industry leadership and inclusion.
