Lewitt presents LCT 440 Pure as stereo pair

Since its release, the LCT 440 Pure has become a global bestseller for the manufacturer, and today it can be found in professional recording studios and home studios around the world. Equipped with a 1’’ true condenser capsule, it delivers studio-quality sound - self-noise: 7 dB (A); high dynamic range: 133 dB (A) - and is equally suited for vocal and instrument recordings.

Lewitt has now released the LCT 440 Pure stereo pair, which comes in a sturdy mil-spec transport case that has room for the two microphones, shock mounts, mic mounts, windscreens, magnetic pop filter, and the stereo bar. Stereo recording is needed to create an immersive listening experience with more realism and dynamics.

As with their other stereo pairs, Lewitt uses an automated measurement and pairing process aiming to create perfectly matched pairs with indistinguishable specifications and sonic properties. Lewitt measures the frequency response and sensitivity of every single microphone produced. An algorithm compares all measured frequency responses and puts together the perfect pairs.
