PlexusAV unveils new uncompressed IPMX transceiver at InfoComm 2026

PlexusAV, the professional AV division of Sencore, providing a suite of human-focused AV-over-IP solutions, will unveil its new flagship P-AVN-6-S transceiver at InfoComm 2026, Booth C10301. The P-AVN-6-S is an uncompressed IPMX and SMPTE ST 2110 solution with native 12G-SDI I/O, designed to bridge traditional SDI infrastructure and modern IP-based workflows across a single open-standard network.

Integrating seamlessly with PlexusAV devices and cross-vendor AV solutions, the launch marks a milestone for PlexusAV as it expands its AV-over-IP ecosystem into high-performance hybrid environments. Purpose-built for live events, hybrid production environments and professional AV applications, the P-AVN-6-S enables organisations to transition seamlessly between baseband and IP workflows without vendor lock-in. This makes it suitable for mission-critical workflows where low latency, interoperability, and timing precision are non-negotiable.

The P-AVN-6-S delivers uncompressed quality over IPMX and SMPTE ST 2110 compliant networks up to 4K60, at approximately 18 Gbps throughput. The unit’s integrated PTP-to-Genlock capability synchronises SDI outputs directly to IP-based timing with +/-12 pixel phase accuracy.

Combined with ST 2022-7 hitless redundancy across independent primary and secondary network paths, the platform is engineered for deployments where timing accuracy and uptime cannot be compromised. Support for 1 GbE, 10 GbE, and 25 GbE networks provides a direct integration path between traditional baseband infrastructures and open-standard IP distribution.

The P-AVN-6-S also includes: native 12G-SDI input and output with HDMI loop out; dual SFP28 interfaces supporting 10 GbE and 25 GbE networks; JPEG-XS support over standard 1 GbE infrastructure; Dante and AES67 audio transport with up to eight audio channels; open Rest API, Web UI, and front-panel LCD configuration; integration with PlexusAV Visual Array for centralised management.

The P-AVN-6-S is designed for a wide range of deployment environments including broadcast studios, live production, stadiums, houses of worship, enterprise broadcast facilities, government command centres, higher education, and hybrid SDI/IP control rooms.

Visitors to InfoComm 2026 will see the P-AVN-6-S demonstrated as part of the complete PlexusAV open-standard AV-over-IP ecosystem, spanning compressed and uncompressed workflows, hybrid SDI/IP infrastructure, audio transport, and enterprise AV integration. The showcase will highlight interoperability across IPMX, SMPTE ST 2110, AES67, Dante and hybrid network environments.

Other products on show include the IPMX-certified P-AVN-4 Transceiver, P-AVN-4E encoder, P-AVN-4D decoder and P-AVN-3-HDBT gateway, showing for the first time in North America, the P-AVN-2E encoder and P-AVN-2D decoder, the P-AVN-WP301H wall plate, P-AVN-CL100 USB-C connectivity hub, and the newest speaker models for the audio product line (SPK-6S/C/P).

PlexusAV will also be participating in interoperability demonstrations with the AIMS Alliance on the IP Showcase Booth W1355 in the West Hall.
