Accu-Cable introduces new tour-grade audio cables

Accu-Cable announces the AXL Pro Series, a line of tour-grade balanced XLR audio cables designed for live production, touring applications, houses of worship, studios, rental companies, and fixed installations. The AXL Pro Series comprises seven available lengths: 1.5 ft/0.5 m, 3 ft/1 m, 6 ft/2 m, 10 ft/3 m, 25 ft/7.6 m, 50 ft/15 m, and 100 ft/30.5 m.

All models feature 20 AWG cable construction, except for the AXL Pro-1 (1.5 ft/0.5 m). The standard models are built using oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors in a twisted pair configuration. A dense braided copper shield provides protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI).

The AXL Pro-1 utilizes a Star Quad 26 AWG conductor design with a copper braided shield and features a 6 mm outer diameter jacket, making it suitable for compact and short-run applications. The AXL Pro Series features a flexible yet rugged low-memory PVC outer jacket with an 8 mm outer diameter.

Seetronic 3-pin XLR connectors with gold-plated contacts and pins ensure enhanced conductivity, corrosion resistance, and secure locking connections. To streamline setup and teardown, each cable includes color-coded connectors with the cable length laser engraved directly onto the connector housing for fast identification in low-light production environments. Connector configurations vary by length to optimize performance and durability for each specific application.

Additional professional details include: clear heat shrink tubing for custom labeling; integrated tie strap for storage and cable management; tour-grade construction built for repeated coiling and transport; and balanced XLR design for noise-free audio transmission.
