ADJ unveils new Vizi FX7 moving head

ADJ introduces the Vizi FX7, an automated luminaire engineered to generate multi-layered looks without the need for multiple fixtures. It brings together beam, wash, kaleidoscopic, and LED ring effects in a single unit. Built with durability and adaptability in mind, the Vizi FX7 is designed for touring productions, rental inventories, concert venues, nightclubs, and houses of worship.

At its core are six 60-Watt RGBL color mixing LEDs, which serve as the primary light source. These LEDs produce intense, saturated colors and are projected through a motorized zoom system, offering a beam angle range of 8° to 38°. This allows designers to seamlessly transition from tight, aerial beams to wide, immersive washes.

The Vizi FX7 features a motorized lens assembly with bidirectional rotation. This enables the creation of multi-beam effects to add depth, motion, and energy to the lighting design. At the center of the fixture, an additional 60-Watt RGBL LED generates a kaleidoscope effect, producing a rotating burst of multi-colored light. Surrounding this is an outer ring of sixty 0.5-Watt RGB color mixing LEDs for eye candy effects.

Each of the six primary LEDs benefits from individual pixel control. Combined with a suite of built-in FX macros and adjustable speed parameters, this enables the rapid creation of chases, color transitions, and dynamic patterns. White light output can be achieved with color temperature variable between 2,700 K and 10,000 K, and presets providing access to popular options.

Integrated 3-phase motors deliver fast, smooth pan and tilt movement. Dimming modes and selectable LED refresh rates of up to 25 kHz ensure flicker-free operation. The Vizi FX7 comes equipped with Aria X2 wireless technology as standard, allowing for cable-free DMX control and remote fixture management. For traditional setups, 5-pin DMX input and output connections with RDM support are also included to ensure seamless integration into existing lighting systems.
