GudSound upgrades to d&b V-Series for scalable deployment

Stage Audio Works has supplied Durban-based technical provider GudSound with a d&b Audiotechnik V-Series line array system, strengthening its capacity for live sound across South Africa.

The deployment includes twenty V8 and four V12 line array elements, sixteen B22 subwoofers, and eight D40 amplifiers. The system is delivered with Stage Plus cabling, flight cases, and integrated power distribution to enable efficient transport, fast deployment, and consistent system integrity in demanding environments.

This marks GudSound’s first investment in d&b. The V-Series is suitable for both large-format outdoor events and controlled indoor productions. The system is already positioned for use across major Durban events, including “Durban July”, alongside music and lifestyle productions such as “Bread4Soul Sessions”, “Saso’s House”, and “Pianocast”.
