MA Lighting releases GrandMA3 onPC DMX-key starter

Designed as a first step for the new generation of lighting designers, programmers, and creative minds, MA Lighting’s new GrandMA3 onPC DMX-key starter is an introduction to the world of lighting control. The small USB device unlocks the full potential of the free of charge GrandMA3 onPC software, giving 1,024 parameters via two DMX outputs.

The DMX-key starter works instantly with a PC or laptop. Users can plug it in via USB-C, open the GrandMA3 onPC software, and start learning, experimenting, and programming first shows. No setup, configuration or network knowledge is required. With access to the complete feature set of the GrandMA3 onPC software, new users can start learning on the same platform used for the world’s biggest shows and productions.

The DMX-key starter is conceived to provide an accessible entry point for schools, universities, and other educational facilities, with preparation for professional workflows from day one. A lockable USB-C connector secures connections in every environment. The housing is made of robust aluminium. Anti-slip strips at the bottom ensure that the device can be placed stably on the work surface. Guide rails with a matching screw set allow for easy mounting in racks or cases.

To provide guidance on users’ learning journey, MA Lighting offers the “MA Starter Pack”, bringing together three key elements designed to help users get started with GrandMA3.
