TNDV celebrates first year of cinematic production success with Aspiration 35
One year after introducing the media and entertainment industry’s first mobile production truck purpose-built around Arri Alexa 35 Live camera systems, TNDV is celebrating a milestone year for Aspiration 35, a production platform that has quickly established itself as a solution for cinematic multicamera broadcasts, live entertainment productions and theatrical concert films.
Since its debut last summer, Aspiration 35 has supported a range of productions, beginning with the nationally televised “Stand Up To Cancer” fundraising special, continuing with the production of “Kidz Bop Live: The Concert Movie”, released in theaters earlier this year, and most recently delivering cinematic live coverage of the “Unity Concert for America”, the July 4th celebration commemorating America’s 250th anniversary in Philadelphia broadcast locally on WPVI-TV.
The truck’s early success also reflects TNDV’s strategic partnership with Nashville-based DBV Rentals, whose extensive inventory of Arri camera systems, specialty cinema lenses and technical expertise has helped establish Aspiration 35 as a turnkey cinematic production solution for producers.
“When we introduced Aspiration 35, our goal wasn’t simply to build another production truck”, says Rob Devlin, President of TNDV. “We wanted to create a purpose-built cinematic production platform backed by the people, workflows and partnerships that allow clients to confidently tackle the industry’s most demanding productions. One year later, we’ve proven that vision across live network broadcasts, theatrical releases and large-scale concert productions.”
“And we’ve only scratched the surface of what’s possible”, he adds. “The last year has validated what we believed from the beginning, which is that cinematic multicamera production is no longer a niche workflow. It’s becoming the new standard for premium live entertainment, and we’re excited to continue helping producers bring those creative ambitions to life.”
