Lorde’s touring team chooses DPA and Wisycom

Under her stage name Lorde, New Zealand singer-songwriter Ella Yelich-O’Connor continues her latest global touring and festival cycle spanning arenas, amphitheaters and intimate venues across multiple continents. The production behind her live shows reflects a sonic vision that leans heavily on audio solutions from DPA Microphones and Wisycom.

For the “Ultrasound” world tour, which concludes October 10, 2026, at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, front-of-house mix engineer Philip J. Harvey selected DPA Microphones’ D:facto 4018VL capsule, while monitor engineer Kevin Glendinning uses Wisycom MPR50 belt-packs, MTK transmitters, MFL optical link and a CSI16T combiner. Glendinning also credits RF specialist Stacey Handley with designing the system architecture.
