Neben acht TrueMatch-A/D-Wandlern mit einem Dynamikumfang von 158 dB (vier digitale Splits pro Eingang), acht Line Outs, acht AES3 I/O und GPIO verfügt Nexus compact auch über sechzehn frei zuweisbare Processing-Kanäle, die mit 10-Band-EQ, Compressor, Limiter, Expander und Delay ausgestattet sind.
